West Midlands Combined Authority Adult Education Budget
BCTG work with over thirty Partners successfully delivering AEB funded programmes to over 3000 adults in 2017/18, achieving a Success Rate of 96%.
We support organisations of all sizes from both the Private and Voluntary Sectors, allowing each to maximise their skills and resources, whilst benefiting from the security and opportunities of being part of a trusted delivery model.
We want to build on this by further developing the capacity and range of our consortia to help deliver the WM Regional Skills Plan and the priorities of the Combined Authority.
For example we are looking for Partners who can deliver,
BCTG has a proven track record in successfully supporting and developing small and medium sized Providers. Our 2018 Ofsted Report recognises the effectiveness and added value of how we manage programmes to secure the best outcome for learners, employers and Providers.
Annually, BCTG delivers over 3500 Apprenticeships in over 1800 employers. As a Main Provider our delivery model meets ESFA Funding Rules. We contract directly with each employer, delivering the core elements of the programme, and employers choose a Partner to deliver the technical and workplace skills.
Changes in 2019 to RoATP and the challenge of Ofsted Monitoring and Inspection, means that for many small niche Providers, collaboration with a Main Provider is the stable and logical way forward.
