Become A Partner

Each year BCTG successfully works with over 1800 SME employers and around 200 Levy Paying companies offering businesses large and small, a ‘one stop shop’ for all their skills needs.

BCTG is one of the largest Independent Training Providers nationally, and as an ESFA Main Provider we directly deliver the core aspects of every learners’ programme.

But to ensure we can meet the diverse demand of our customers we also work with a range of Partners to deliver elements of workplace skills support.

BCTG has a class leading reputation as a Main Provider and Consortia Lead. Our latest Ofsted Report acknowledges ‘Leaders and managers have established positive partnerships and working arrangements with their subcontractors. Subcontractors value the relationship with BCTG. They speak highly of the good support and challenge they receive from managers’.

A key element of our strategy is to become more responsive to the emerging regional skills agenda and in particular within the West Midlands Combined Authority.

Current Opportunities - WMCA SWAP Consortium

As part of a competitive tender process, BCTG Limited has been selected by West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to lead their new Regional SWAP Consortium.

The SWAP consortium will be funded through the WMCA’s AEB budget. The WMCA have already prioritised SWAP provision as a key element of AEB focused on delivering better outcomes for residents into employment through occupationally specific training. The WMCA will make available £3m on annual basis over a 3-year period which means that the total investment is up to £9m.

Consortium

We wish to develop a consortium of local Training Providers to engage with employers and local residents to successfully deliver SWAP’s that lead to high quality, sustained employment outcomes. The consortium needs to have sufficient capacity to support employers of all sizes and sectors across the seven metropolitan districts of the WMCA. To do this, we anticipate the consortium will have a diverse mix of Provider members including small locally based providers, niche providers and third sector community-based organisations.

Apply to be Part of the Consortia

We are keen to work with established Providers with active employer links and a strong relationship with local DWP Job Centres and/or local community groups, to successfully engage with those seeking work.
