BIRMINGHAM Speedway is under new ownership – and the club have ambitious plans for the future. The Brummies, who have just completed their first season in the Elite League, have attracted new investment from BCTG.

A search to find 100 of the best young people in Sandwell and Dudley to fill job opportunities is being launched. It is part of a new £1.85 million push to get young people into training and employment across the Black Country.

A £1.85 million Black Country training programme to help get hundreds of unemployed young people into work has been announced. The two-year programme called Kick Start Gold will target almost 1,000 14-19-year olds who are currently not in education, employment or training (NEET).
