The Apprenticeship Works

BUSINESSES in the West Midlands hunting for temporary or full-time staff are set to benefit from a unique new Government-backed apprentice agency.

The Apprenticeship Works is one of a handful of new schemes in the country which will provide a "bank" of willing young apprentices.

A team of brokers, based in Wolverhampton, will help employers find applicants to best suit their business needs.

The apprentice would then be employed by the agency, with the employer paying a small weekly contribution.

The saving for the employer would be up to two thirds of the cost of employing a traditional agency worker.
