What is a Traineeship?

Traineeships prepare young people between 16 and 24 for their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready'.

Traineeships provide the essential work preparation training, maths and English and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job.

Typically a Traineeship will include

  • Work preparation training which ensures you have the skills and confidence needed for an Apprenticeship or other job.
  • Maths and English support to improve your job prospects.
  • Meaningful work experience which provides insight and experience of the world of work.
  • Help to build your CV and support to improve your interview skills.

A Traineeship can last up to 6 months and gives you a solid foundation to move onto an Apprenticeship and employment. Our Traineeship programme is called KickStart Plus, to find out more click the link below.
