The Apprenticeship Works is actually different from other training programmes or recruitment agencies because;

 

Apprentices are employed by The Apprenticeship Works and receive benefits like holiday pay and sickness cover

 

Apprentices undertake a series of short or medium term assignments with employers (like a temporary worker), and are trained and assessed on the job.

 

Apprentices follow an approved Apprenticeship qualification, which usually includes an NVQ at Level 2 or 3, Key Skills, and sometimes a Technical Certificate. Training is provided by an approved Training Provider or local college, like any other Apprenticeship programme. Apprentices will usually undertake several employer assignments before moving into permanent employment.

Apprentices are employed by the Agency, and have the security of a monthly income. An Apprentice can expect to receive around £110.00 per week, well above minimum Apprenticeship rates.

 

Like an ordinary Apprentice, Agency Apprentices receive full on the job training leading to nationally recognised qualifications. You get to experience different companies and different ways of working. This dramatically increases your chances of securing permanent employment with one of our companies.
